Luna Online is another Korean MMORPG. With cute, bright graphics, Luna Online encourages socializing with a built-in match making system that pairs boys and girls based on their likes and dislikes. The main draw for most players though will be the game’s elaborate profession tree, which has a total of fifty-two classes that branch out from three base jobs players select during character creation. Players are free to design hybrid characters. For example, a Mage who picks Priest at level twenty can still become a Warlock at seventy-five, and retain all skills trained as a priest. Another interesting feature offered in Luna Online is player-owned Farms. Farms can only be purchased and operated by Families (Luna’s term for guilds).

Ragnarok Online is a well known 3D Fantasy MMORPG with beautifully designed sprites. The game is regarded as one of the best Korean MMORPGs out there, but it has always been ‘pay to play’ for years. Just recently, the company behind the game, Gravity, launched a new ‘free to play’ server called ‘Valkyrie’. With a large game world and an incredible amount of job advancements and character classes, Ragnarok Online is certainly one of the most detailed and fun free MMORPGs available.

+Huge community.
+Varied PvP options.
+Regular content updates.
Overview:
Ragnarok Online is certainly one of the most well known MMORPGs out there. The game was originally released in 2001 and has since had a lot of success. The game has always been ‘Pay-to-play’ which is why private Ragnarok Online servers became so popular. I’m surprised it took Gravity so long to launch a free version of their game, but in October 2008 gravity launched a single free-to-play server on iRO (International Ragnarok Online) called Valkyrie which would pay for itself by selling ‘cash shop items’. The free server ‘Valkyrie’ is largely the same as the pay to play servers, but with slightly slower experience gain. If you’re not familiar with the game, Ragnarok Online is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG with detailed 2D sprites and beautifully animated visuals. It has a large selection of playable classes and a huge game world to explore. The game may be a bit older than other MMORPGs, but it’s still been able to keep fresh with regular content updates from the publisher. If you’ve never played Ragnarok Online before or you’re tired of playing on lame private servers, give the game a try!

Overview:
Dragonica Online is a unique, 3D side-scrolling MMORPG that closely resembles arcade classics like Gauntlet Legends, as well as PC Action MMORPGs like GhostX or Dungeon Fighter Online. Those that are tired of traditional side scrolling games like MapleStory and Wind Slayer should find that Dragonica is genuinely different gaming experience; and a fun one at that. Dragonica is one of the best free-to-play titles of 2009, so make sure to check it out. The game’s four starting classes are:
Warrior - Warriors are the traditional ‘tank’ class in Dragonica. They have a large pool of hit points and are effective in melee combat but have little ranged damage.
Thief – Thieves, like in most games, are proficient at dealing damage and rely on their agility to attack rapidly in combat. Even though they can deal large amounts of damage they are vulnerable in melee combat as they have don’t have nearly as many hit points as a warrior.
Magician - The Magician in Dragonica is the basic spell caster of the game. They have both supportive and offensive spells and can better specialize after their first job advancement. They are extremely weak in melee range as they have the least hit points in the game.
Archer – The archer class in Dragonica is proficient with both bow weapons and can deal a fair amount of damage from a distance but is vulnerable in melee range. They have more hit points than a Magician but less than a Warrior
